Withington Narrow Gauge Modellers
Welcome to the new web site of the Withington Narrow Gauge Modellers.
A group of enthusiastic narrow gauge modellers with a few hundred years of experience between them, who meet on the second Sunday of each month in the village hall at Withington, deep in the heart of the Cotswolds.
The club was formed in 1996 having been part of the National 16mm Narrow Gauge Society for many years beforehand. The club layout is about 30' x 15' and consists of a double track main line with passing loops and service lines.
The club also has a second hand sales department that members can buy and sell through. This includes all aspects of railwayana, not only 16mm.
Visitors are very welcome to attend to see what goes on. However to run a loco/train has to be arranged with an existing member.
Running is by roster with a 30 minute slot and a maximum of two trains in each direction.
Membership numbers are around 40 and the annual subscription is just £20
